BUYING A NEW TOILET

Water conservation laws have discontined the use of toilets that use more than 1.6 gallons of water per flush. While this will lower your water bill, there is a much greater chance of clogs and, in many cases, more cleaning required.

When looking for a new toilet, important details to look for include how powerful the flush is and the amount of water that is in the bowl before the flush. More water in the bowl and not the tank means less chance of waste landing on the china of the bowl. A more powerful flush will result in less clogs. It is important to buy a brand with the two features discussed above.
